I first take a history of your pet and do a thorough exam to see if they are eligible to have a Non-Anesthetic Teeth Scaling preformed. If your pet is a candidate the following steps are carried out. Using a gentle and safe restraining technique called a swaddle your pet is laid comfortably in a supine position.
We are professionally trained to remove plaque and tartar both on the visible tooth as well asabove the gum line using a combination of a hand scaling and ultrasonic scaling. This will ensurethat all plaque and tartar will be removed completely. After all the plaque and tartar have beenremoved, the teeth are polished. This keeps the teeth smooth and helps to prevent plaque toadhere between cleanings.
